That griffin looks like it has four wings. The animation also looks like it's based on a pre-photography idea of a gallop.

On the theory that a cat running would be a good analog for a griffin running, I looked up Eadweard Muybridge's cat motion study, but it really isn't long enough to give you a good sense of what sustained running looks like in a cat, so here's a video of a cat running up someone's driveway for comparison:
