Zombie Nixon running in 2012
A compendium for the day.

I'm especially fond of the ferret in the little orange jacket (telegraph), the butterfly attacks (qualcom), google's nuclear program, and xkcd's browser-based telnet screen, though I haven't found any of the easter eggs.

And one more from the thread at filkertom.

Funnier if you know something about Objectivism.

Link thanks to ladypoetess.

Ferrets is the Daily Telegraph. The Guardian was 'vote Labour or else'

(ETA - I'm pointing out their mistake not yours of course)

Thanks-- I wasn't sure which it was, so I checked the techcrunch page instead of the link....

For a second I wondered if the Guardian had done a spoof about ferrets and the Gordon Brown alpha male thing was real. I was entering the twilight zone.

Wow, that's actually a good joke about Ayn Rand; the reversal of all of her ideas is so perfectly targeted. And I like the way the final image of the novel resembles the statue in Kipling's "As Easy as A.B.C.", though I suppose that's coincidental.

Not to mention the sheer improbability of Peikoff (excuse me, Leikoff) authorizing a sequel by anybody at all, let alone one like that.
