List of Islamist terror attacks

I don't know about you, but I get a lot of my news from the radio, and sometimes I have trouble keeping track of whether an attack is new or from a few days ago.

Wikipedia has a list. It's not my ideal list, which would include terrorist attack generally, and also have some way of making the number of deaths more conspicuous rather than making all attacks look like they're the same size to a casual glance. There's a surprising gap from January 30 to March 13 of this year. Still, it's a great deal better than not having a list at all.

Maps of worst terrorist attacks (100 or more fatalities)

There's a lot of data analysis that could be done on that; if someone turned it into a spreadsheet or other structured data file, it could be very useful.

It confirms my sense that the vasty majority of the attacks happen within Muslim countries. As far as I'm aware, nobody demanded that the president cancel a foreign trip when those happened.

I notice that on March 25 Daesh killed more people in a football stadium in Iraq than it had in Brussels. I never even heard about that attack till just now!

Not just in Muslim countries, but targeted at Muslims.

I'm tempted to think of attacks on non-Muslims (except in Israel) as collateral damage in an intra-Muslim conflict, but that's probably overdoing it.

The other thing that's obvious from the wikipedia list is that the number of attacks is increasing. Terrorism isn't a default for Islam in general.
